The Apparition of Our Lady of Paddle Board

On the feast of the Assumption, August 15, 2019, the Apparition of Our Lady of Paddle Board occurred at sea in front of the "Igralište" bathing area in Kantrida, Rijeka. Since then, every year, on the same date and at the same place, pilgrims and believers gather to celebrate this significant event. Each year, the "Celebration of the Apparition of Our Lady of Paddleboard" is marked differently, with programs and content reflecting local and global issues and current events. The popularity of the apparition site and the interest in the celebration visibly grow year after year.
