Rosary in the Sea [2022]

After numerous public reactions and further reflection on personal, collective, and general questions of faith and its visual manifestations, the third anniversary was marked by a large floating rosary in the sea, placed at the location where Our Lady of the paddleboard appeared in 2019. Given that this year was marked by unbearable and extremely dangerous heat, believers were offered the option of praying in the coolness of the sea, far from the crowded shrines where the dangerous virus was still present.
